feline familiars (Susie, Rosie Whiskas & Tobacco)
weatherwitch has been doing a bit of sewing again recently, making a few bits so I thought I'd keep her hat box of cross stitch threads nice and safe for her. I'll protect it from any marauding folk. She did panic when she saw where I was lying because she told me that I nearly gave myself an unintentional anal accupuncture treatment. Apparantly she'd left a needle tucked into the top of the box! :-O At least she removed it which is something I suppose. Bloody stitch witches *sniff*

Tilly managed to cut a huge ammount of this massive field lawn on Saturday but he ran out of energy. Whilst it's fun wading through the long grass I'd be far happier to be able to wander through easily without wondering if I'll get lost. I keep losing weatherwitch in this lot, it's ridiculous, and this is the shorter bit of the long grass left!!

There I was, enjoying a nice evening leaning against the warm radiator after the exhaustion of being out in the garden all day when weatherwitch sees me. She says how cute I look so takes a photo of me. Seconds after this I then stretch out inviting her to tickle my tummy when I lose my balance & slide in a dignified heap onto the ground. weatherwitch says it was an undignified heap, something to do with the yelp I made when I realised I was falling. But did she try & help me? Did she try & catch me to save me falling? Did she hell. She just stood there laughing. That's not nice.

Nor is making a fuss of me afterwards but still laughing :-(

We've been tagged by weatherwitch101

Ten random things about me us.

1) We love Tesco pouches food above all other brands at the moment. This will *not* last.
2) We all prefer kitten biscuits over those meant for adults or senior cat.
3) We have two cat trays & we all prefer to use the same one.
4) We love going out into the garden or the woods.
5) We love fleecy blankets & furry cushions.
6) Tobacco is scared of visitors but Rosie loves to say hello to everyone (unlike weatherwitch101! )
7) We love the open fire but to sit gazing into it rather than lying in front of it.
8) We hate the vets :-(
9) We love our Grandma Whiskas who spoils us rotten :-D
10) We often fight over who gets to share the bed with weatherwitch101!

Now we're supposed to tag 10 people to tag to do the same ten random things meme but we'll just say anyone that weatherwitch101 didn't get & wants to do it :D

weatherwitch has been sorting out the inside of the dresser for a few days nows, sorting out materials & sewing bits, it's been fascinating to watch her talking away to herself as she decides what to do with things. She had an excuse though last night as Grandma Whiskas was over so they were talking instead. But it's been even more fun to chase errant cotton reels & beads etc as they roll away in all directions. The cupboard smells great too, I know she's stored cat mint in here somewhere but I've just not been able to squeeze through everything to find it, it's so unfair :-(

Bast! It was blowing gale force winds out there yesterday, but being male I knew I was made of strong stuff so could easily cope with such piffling weather. Grandma let me out at my insistance and I ignored all her warnings of it being extremely windy out there. Sure I saw the dustbin lid go flying past yet again, plant pots go falling over but I knew I could cope with such trivalities. I went out.

I nearly got blown off my paws! I cried at the window to come in, I implored Rosie to let weatherwitch or Grandma know I was out there desperate to come in but she ignored me. Turned her back on me and walked off. Git.

They finally let me in, I had to give a wild eyed look* through the window accompanied by pathetic howling before they let me in, but I suffered, oh how I suffered out there in those strong winds.

*see here for that one as weatherwitch has fun at my expense on her lj :-( She says the pic is really funny *huh*

Today was chilly, no doubt about it, but did weatherwitch put the heating back on? Did she heck :-( So I made my protest. She'd put her washing on the radiator to dry, then said the house got too hot so she switched it off, and so I froze as the house cooled down. I decided to make my protest felt more strongly by lying on her nightie which was on the now cold radiator. One look at the pitiful expression on my face of being cold and glum, whilst I laid on the cold radiator to really show her how frozen I was and that I desperately needed heat and she gave in and switched the heating on. Yay :D

Now I know that trick works, I'm sure I'll get to use it again soon ;-)

Please put the heating on, please ...

We had a very happy halloween the other day, grandma's been over looking after weatherwitch & grandad came over for tea, plus managing to avoid all those all awful trick or treaters that their village gets. The fire was lit and it was wonderful, I definately got a halloween treat, weatherwitch lit the fire and it was so wonderfully hot, I just loved sprawling out infront of it and I lay there for ages and ages just slowly baking :-) That was purrfect, I can't wait for weatherwitch to light the fire again :-)
